ANNOUNCEMENT: A special
election assembly will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February
11, 2012 at North Church, 2040 W. Henderson Rd., Columbus, Ohio.
Due to the resignation of our Panel 52 Delegate, Steve F., on
December 22, 2011, a special election must be held to read the
profiles of qualified candidates and elect a new delegate. Any
interested, qualified candidates should complete a
profile (see page
25 of 28 of the current Ohio Handbook 2011,
available online)
and send to Sandy F., incoming Chairperson. Please contact us if

The Ohio Area Assembly calendar lists Al-Anon and Alateen
events occurring throughout Ohio. Events are listed here for the convenience
of the public, professionals, Al-Anon and Alateen members.
Members of the public, professionals, as well as Al-Anon and Alateen members,
are invited to attend any "open" event. "Closed" events are intended only
for Al-Anon and Alateen members, as well as anyone whose life may have been
affected by someone else's drinking. Members of Al-Anon and Alateen are invited
to attend all events listed, whether "open" or "closed", except Alateen events,
which are restricted to teens and their sponsors unless otherwise stated.
In addition, the calendar contains District, Intergroup and other Business
meetings of Al-Anon service organizations in the area. District, Intergroup
and other Business meetings may have other requirements for attendance. If
an Al-Anon or Alateen member wishes to attend one of these meetings, it is
prudent to contact the responsible party prior to attending.
Listing an event on this page does not constitute approval of the manner
in which the event practices the Al-Anon or Alateen program, nor does it
imply any affiliation with or financial or any other responsibility for the
events listed.
